Course topics include: discussion on two common airborne and waterborne disease causing agents in the health care environment: Aspergillus and Legionella; the evolution of best practice standards for nosocomial infection prevention and control; a detailed examination of the latest version of CSA Z317; and a review of actual cases involving outbreaks in health care facilities.
