Managing Principal and Team Lead – HSE Professional Engoneering

Paul Bozek brings more than 40 years of experience in occupational health and safety, combining engineering practice, occupational hygiene expertise, and academic leadership. His career spans complex industrial, institutional, and high-risk environments where exposure control, ignition risk, and regulatory compliance demand rigorous technical oversight. In addition to his consulting work, Paul teaches occupational hygiene and conducts research on exposure controls at the University of Toronto School of Public Health, reinforcing his commitment to advancing both practice and standards in the field.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Engineering in Occupational Hygiene, and an MBA. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and maintains both the Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) designation through the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists and the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene — internationally recognized standards of professional competence in occupational hygiene. His engineering practice focuses on Pre-Start Health and Safety Reviews (PSR) in environments involving risk of ignition, flammable liquids storage, and potential overexposure to hazardous substances. He also conducts compliance audits across occupational health and safety and Fire Code requirements. As Managing Principal and Team Lead – HSE Professional Engineering, Paul provides technical authority and regulatory guidance that help clients manage high-consequence risks with confidence and precision.
