
Gerry Hamill
Gerry Hamill brings more than 20 years of experience with CrossSafety, beginning his career as a field consultant and progressing into senior leadership roles across complex industrial environments. He has supported high-rise and low-rise construction, large-scale industrial operations, Alberta oil sands developments, the CNRL project, and major automotive manufacturing infrastructure projects involving workforces ranging from 750 to more than 4,000 personnel. His background reflects both large-scale project oversight and hands-on operational leadership in high-risk settings.
Much of Gerry’s work has taken place in fast-paced, 24/7 environments where coordination, responsiveness, and clear communication are critical. His experience spans field execution, team supervision, and division-level oversight — giving him a practical understanding of how safety programs must function in dynamic industrial operations. As Managing Principal and Team Lead, Gerry leads CrossSafety’s Industrial Division, overseeing up to 30 safety professionals across multiple projects and sites. Known for his steady presence and practical decision-making, he leads with a direct and collaborative style. He fosters a team culture where experience is leveraged and new talent is developed, strengthening both day-to-day performance and long-term capability across the division.
