Keeping Workers and Community Housing Residents Safe
In the late 1990s, a CrossSafety legacy company developed the contractor and maintenance safety program for Canada’s largest community housing authority. Then, in 2000, another CrossSafety legacy company was selected to provide project safety advisory and monitoring services for construction and maintenance operations across their portfolio of over 60,000 rental units across more than 1,300 locations. In this role our team advises on project safety issues and requirements in pre-construction meetings, perform on-site inspections during work operations to identify and ensure correction of any unsafe conditions, and advise on project organization and compartmentalization to ensure clear lines of authority and responsibility relating to job site safety. We are proud to have been selected once again in late 2025 to continue our mission in support of this client for another five-year term.
